Compared to conventional vibratory finishing, centrifugal units offer up to 30x greater throughput than conventional finishing systems. Centrifugal disc units are specially suited for the removal of strong burrs and intensive radiusing of small to mid-size parts. These machines can also provide gentle smoothing and polishing of delicate and very thin components.
The extreme force created in the Centrifugal Disc unit generates a high pressure and an intense relative movement between the parts and media, thereby creating a high grinding intensity, thus resulting in much shorter processing times.
